Was watching some charity show on TV, this time it is the "ren ci" hospital asking for funds. Pple listen and read properly, its ren ci hospital, not the NKF. I could see that the celebrities were trying all way out, even until they were at their wits ends to convince viewers that ren ci is a non profitable organisation unlike *AHEM, N..F* True enough, I am not fit to write this entry bout the NKF, because I ain't that clear bout the news. What I know is that all these years NKF have been asking desperately for funds, and it was recently disclosed that the funds that they have can keep them alive or provide to our needy singaporeans for the next 6 to 7 years to come. I may be wrong with my figures, but it is something about the excessive funds they have that can provide to less fortunate Singaporeans for a few years. And its all because of some high authority up there, who are "eating" the money..But i personally feel that its kinda unfair, due to the all the shameful news bout this orgainisatino, i thought it had probably affected the figures for Ren ci this year. Everyone in Singapore just have the metality that such orgainisatino are out to deguile them just after the NFK incident. I will not blame them for having such a thinking. I can't imagine being deceived and betrayed in this way too. can you picture it, if you donate every year without fail, and suddenly one day it was discovered that for every 1 dollar that u donate only 10 cents go to the needy patients. THIS IS TRUE* what bout the rest of the 90cents? Readers should be able to guess where did the 90 cents went too.. and who pocketed it.The most innocent ones i will say are the patients. They are the one who needs the help , yet the place they are seeking help from are exploiting them, putting how in need of funds they are on tv, and at the end of the day, they don't get what they deserve. But i believe they are still many kind hearted pple around. I will not deny that i did not donate a cent to ren ci at all for this year. But of course of the last few years when I was still attending school in Singapore, I do donate to the NKF.. still remember students standing around shopping centres, with a tin, u donate and u get a sticker. And yes i even did CIP for NKF b4, i had to carry the tins from one mrt station to another. So i am kinda sad too to hear bout news of NKF..But that does not mean that all the orgainisations are out to fool us
